*Job Profile: Welfare Officer**
**Role Overview:**
The Welfare Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of our employees by managing welfare programs, maintaining compliance with labour laws, and fostering a harmonious workplace environment. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of labour compliances and the ability to effectively manage employee relations.

**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Labour Compliance Management:**
- Ensure adherence to all relevant labour laws and the four labour codes, including the Factory Act, Minimum Wages, Industrial Relations, and Social Security.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
2. **Employee Relations:**
- Foster positive relationships between workers and management to create a harmonious work environment.
- Address and resolve employee grievances promptly and effectively.
3. **Welfare Program Management:**
- Develop and implement welfare programs that promote employee well-being and satisfaction.
- Oversee medical facilities, first aid, transport, and canteen operations to ensure high standards of service and compliance.
4. **Training and Development:**
- Conduct training sessions and counselling programs to enhance employee skills and address workplace issues.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop relevant programs.
5. **Health & Safety Oversight:**
- Supervise health and safety activities to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective measures as needed.
6. **Documentation and Reporting:**
- Manage and maintain comprehensive welfare documentation and records.
- Prepare and present reports on welfare activities and compliance status to management.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education:**
- A regular MBA degree from a recognized institution.
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the hand tool sector.
- Proven experience in labour law compliance and industrial relations.
- **Certifications:**
- Certifications in Labour Law and Industrial Relations are required.
- **Skills:**
- Strong knowledge of labour compliances and the four labour codes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
