The Head of 3D Product Design will lead the complete luxury furniture design process from concept development to production-ready drawings and visualization. The role is responsible for creating innovative, premium, and market-driven furniture designs while coordinating with production, merchandising, sales, and client teams to ensure feasibility, quality, aesthetics, and timely execution.
The candidate must have strong expertise in luxury furniture styling, material understanding, ergonomics, 3D visualization, and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Design & Development
- Lead the design and development of luxury furniture products including sofas, beds, dining tables, chairs, wardrobes, consoles, and customized furniture.
- Develop creative concepts, mood boards, sketches, and detailed 3D models.
- Create production-friendly designs aligned with manufacturing capabilities.
- Ensure designs meet luxury aesthetics, comfort, functionality, and durability standards.
- Study international furniture trends, materials, finishes, and market requirements.
3D Visualization & Technical Drawings
- Prepare high-quality 3D renders and presentations for clients and management.
- Develop detailed technical drawings, BOMs, dimensions, and production specifications.
- Coordinate with CNC, carpentry, upholstery, metal, stone, and finishing departments for execution.
- Maintain design accuracy and revision control.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise the 3D design team and product designers.
- Allocate projects and monitor design timelines.
- Mentor junior designers and improve team productivity.
- Conduct design reviews and approvals.
Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate with production and planning teams for prototype development.
- Work closely with sales and client servicing teams for customized requirements.
- Ensure smooth transition from design stage to production stage.
- Support factory teams during sampling and product development.
Quality & Innovation
- Maintain luxury design standards and brand identity.
- Introduce innovative materials, mechanisms, and finishes.
- Improve product functionality and cost optimization without compromising aesthetics.
- Ensure all designs comply with safety and ergonomic standards.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of luxury furniture manufacturing processes.
- Expertise in 3D modeling and rendering software.
- Strong understanding of materials such as wood, veneer, metal, marble, upholstery, foam, hardware, and finishes.
- Excellent creativity, visualization, and detailing skills.

Educational Qualification

Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in furniture design and product development.
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in team handling or leadership role within luxury furniture manufacturing industry.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹99,999.00 per month
