About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Solar Technician to sales support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical knowledge and field experience in solar projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain solar rooftop systems
- Perform site surveys and assist in system layout planning
- Handle wiring, inverter installation, and panel mounting
- Troubleshoot and repair solar system faults
- Conduct preventive maintenance and performance checks
- Ensure safety standards and quality guidelines are followed
- Coordinate with engineers and service teams
- Maintain service and installation reports
- Sales closing
Candidate Requirements
- Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related trade
- Experience: 1–3 years in solar installation or electrical field (preferred)
- Knowledge of inverters, batteries, and solar panels
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
- Willingness to travel within Kollam district
- Good teamwork and problem-solving skills
