PDI Automotive Technician
A Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) technician prepares vehicles for delivery to customers by inspecting, cleaning, and detailing them. Their responsibilities include:
- Inspection: Checking the interior and exterior of the vehicle for damage, missing components, loose or misaligned items, and minor chips and scratches
- Cleaning: Washing the exterior and vacuuming the interior
- Detailing: Spot cleaning upholstery, rugs, and exterior surfaces
- Preparation: Ensuring that accessories and options are functional, removing shipping materials, and setting the radio, clock, and compass
- Repairs: Performing repairs and replacing defective items
- Documentation: Ensuring that warranty repairs are properly documented and charged
- Quality assurance: Ensuring that all features are operational and the product meets the expected quality standards
PDI technicians may also perform long-storage vehicle maintenance, including checking the battery, wiper, electrical, trim, and exterior paint condition
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
