Position : Senior PPC Engineer (Production Planning & Control) Reports To : Department Head

Competencies
1. 5—8 years of experience in Production Planning & Control in a fabrication, machining, or heavy engineering industry.
2. Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
3. Good understanding of fabrication, machining, welding, painting, assembly, and dispatch processes.
4. Experience in ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory management.
S. Ability to prepare and monitor production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
6. Strong knowledge of material planning and coordination with Purchase and Stores departments.
7. Good understanding of BOM, routing, work orders, and production documentation.
8. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
9. Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
10. Good communication skills with customers, subcontractors, suppliers & internal team.
11. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and production planning tools.
12. Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize production based on business requirements.
13. Stock maintenance & every month stock closing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute production plans to meet customer delivery schedules.
2. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer requirements and manufacturing capacity.
3. Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to the planned schedule.
4. Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, Quality, and Dispatch teams for smooth project execution.
5. Review material availability and ensure timely procurement of raw materials and bought-out components.
6. Monitor machine loading, manpower utilization, and production capacity to maximize efficiency.
7. Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
8. Conduct production review meetings and communicate priorities to all departments.
9. Track work orders, WIP (Work-in-Progress), and pending activities to ensure timely completion.
10. Coordinate with customers regarding delivery schedules, project status, and planning updates whenever required.
11. Ensure ERP/MRP transactions are updated accurately for production orders and inventory.
12. Analyze production performance, schedule adherence, and delivery metrics, and submit periodic reports to management.
13. Support new product development planning, prototype scheduling, and production ramp-up activities.
14. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce lead time, and optimize inventory.
15. Guide and mentor junior PPC engineers and planning executives.
16. Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and operational procedures.
17. Collaborate with Department Heads to resolve production constraints and achieve on-time delivery targets.
18. Prepare and monitor monthly production plans for Fabrication, Machine Shop, Purchase, and Sales teams by tracking Plan v ual performance and implem g correcti eactions to achieve delivery targets.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
