Qualification: B.E Mehcanical / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Years of Experience: B.E - 6-8 years / Diploma - 9-12 years.
Additional Qualification Required: NDT Level II (UT,RT,MT,PT)
Job description:
- Performing site piping activity:
Check as per isometric, setup, visual inspection, monitoring of welding parameters as per approved WPS/PQR, preheat/post weld heat treatment monitoring and
chart review, hardness testing of weld, completeness
- Knowledge of materials: carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, preferable for duplex stainless steel and higher alloys
- Knowledge of welding: GTAW, SMAW. Consumable storage, preservation, baking requirements, ensuring application of WPS/PQR,
- Conversant with ASME B31.3
- Maintaining respective quality documentation for the above activities, records, clearance from relevant authorities/
- Having internal audit certificate is added advantage
- Knowledge of preparing the hydro test loop file.
- check of piping and piping loops, punch point clearance, working knowledge with TPIA, PMC and client.
- Knowledge in surface preparation and painting and testing for Piping.
