We are seeking a customer-focused and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience, driving sales, building customer relationships, and maintaining high standards of store presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Provide detailed product knowledge, including features, benefits, and styling suggestions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
- Handle billing, payments, exchanges, and returns as per company policies.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store is well-presented at all times.
- Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and stock counts.
- Support promotional activities, launches, and in-store events.
- Stay updated on product collections, trends, and competitor activities.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and customer service standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in retail sales, fashion retail, luxury retail, or customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for customer service and sales.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Well-groomed, confident, and customer-oriented personality.
- Basic computer and POS billing knowledge is an advantage.
- Flexible to work on weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in fashion, apparel, footwear, jewellery, lifestyle, or luxury retail brands.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management and clienteling practices.
