The Solar Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and installation and operation Maintenance of solar energy systems. This role involves conducting site assessments, creating project designs, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and according to specifications.
Roles & Responsibility
- Conduct site survey to evaluate the feasibility of solar energy installations.
- Design solar energy systems based on site conditions, energy requirements, and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Procure materials and equipment required for solar energy installations.
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality control measures.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in solar energy systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- Proven experience in solar energy project development, design, and installation.
- Strong knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) technology, equipment, and systems.
