Commis Chef – Garde Manger (Cold Kitchen)
Location: Adani Airport Lounge, CSMIA Terminal 2, Mumbai
Job Summary
Semolina Kitchens is seeking a Commis Chef – Garde Manger to assist in the preparation of fresh salads, sandwiches, cold appetizers, platters, and other cold kitchen specialties for our premium Airport Lounge.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing salads, sandwiches, wraps, cold appetizers, fruit platters, cheese platters, and other cold kitchen items.
- Support buffet setup and replenishment during service.
- Prepare mise en place for daily operations.
- Maintain food quality, freshness, and presentation standards.
- Follow HACCP guidelines and food safety procedures.
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and follow FIFO practices.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Assist senior chefs in daily cold kitchen operations.
- Perform additional duties assigned by senior chefs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts.
- 0–2 years of experience in Garde Manger or Cold Kitchen.
- Freshers with industrial training are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of salads, sandwiches, and cold food preparation.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights.
