About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-orientated civil engineer who can blend technical expertise with strong project documentation and site management skills. The ideal candidate should be passionate about sustainable infrastructure, proficient in engineering design tools, and capable of overseeing both planning and execution phases of community-based construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop technical engineering collaterals, including site plans and structural layouts.
- Prepare detailed project reports and technical documentation.
- Create and maintain site progress reports and material estimates.
- Handle documentation and billing work with a precise and creative approach to problem-solving.
- Develop high-quality project presentations with strong visual storytelling for stakeholders.
- Oversee on-site execution and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and government bodies for project compliance and communication needs.
- Utilise AI and digital mapping tools to enhance engineering productivity and accuracy.
Software & Tools Required
Mandatory:
- MS Office: Especially Excel for billing, Word, and PowerPoint.
- AutoCAD: Strong hands-on experience in 2D/3D drafting is required.
Design & Analysis Tools:
- STAAD.Pro or similar structural analysis software.
- Revit for Building Information Modelling (BIM).
- MS Project or Primavera for scheduling.
Surveying & Mapping Tools (basic knowledge required):
- Google Earth Pro / GIS software.
- Total station data interpretation.
Required Skills
- Strong technical drafting and structural design skills.
- Good understanding of building codes, material quality, and site safety.
- Basic knowledge of cost estimation and quantity surveying.
- Familiarity with AI-based project management tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for site labor and stakeholder management.
- Extreme attention to detail and the ability to meet strict project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Portfolio: A portfolio or summary showcasing previous site projects and technical drawings.
