Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Draftsman with a strong background in both mechanical and civil drafting. The candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and have working knowledge of SolidWorks. This is a full-time, on-site position open exclusively to local candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings for mechanical components and civil structures
- Interpret engineering specifications, sketches, and layouts to produce detailed working drawings
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams to incorporate design inputs and revisions
- Maintain proper version control and organized records of all drawings
- Deliver drawings within project timelines with a high degree of accuracy
- Support multiple projects simultaneously as required by the team
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD — Mandatory
- Experience in mechanical and civil drafting
- Knowledge of SolidWorks — strong added advantage
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and project specifications
- Good understanding of engineering standards and drawing conventions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant drafting experience in mechanical and/or civil domain (adjust as needed)
Education
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Civil Drafting, or
- Equivalent technical qualification with hands-on CAD experience
