Hiring: Raw Material Inspector

About the Role
We are looking for a Raw Material Inspector to join our Quality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting incoming raw materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications before they are released for production. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in incoming quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming raw materials as per approved specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.
- Verify supplier test certificates (COA) and quality documents.
- Approve, reject, or quarantine materials based on inspection results.
- Identify and report non-conforming materials and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection reports, documentation, and traceability records.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Production, and suppliers regarding quality issues.
- Assist in supplier quality evaluations and audits.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF quality standards.
- Maintain inspection instruments and ensure timely calibration.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in Incoming Raw Material Inspection in a manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and quality control processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and material specifications.
- Hands-on experience with Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of sampling plans, inspection methods, and non-conformance management.
- Understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and quality management systems.
- Experience with supplier quality documents, inspection records, and traceability.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
