Job Summary
The OEM Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing business relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves strategic account management, contract negotiations, sales forecasting, and coordination with internal teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify and develop new OEM customers and business opportunities.
- Generate leads and convert them into long-term business partnerships.
- Expand market share and achieve sales growth targets.
- Key Account Management
- Manage relationships with existing OEM customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer requirements and concerns.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Sales & Revenue Management
- Prepare and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular forecasts and reports.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with customers.
- Project Coordination
- Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams for successful project execution.
- Ensure timely submission of quotations, samples, and technical proposals.
- Market Intelligence
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Identify emerging opportunities and recommend strategies for business expansion.
- Commercial & Contract Management
- Lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
- Reporting
- Prepare monthly sales reports, customer visit reports, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
- Present business reviews to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 5–12 years of experience in OEM sales, B2B sales, automotive, industrial, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Commercial acumen and business development expertise.
- Knowledge of OEM sales processes and contract management.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel extensively as required.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
