Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ARC welding (SMAW) on MS/SS structural and façade components as per drawings and specifications.
- Carry out fit-up, marking, grinding, cutting, and preparation of materials before welding.
- Ensure proper weld quality and inspect weld joints for defects or rework requirements.
- Operate and maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment safely.
- Read and understand fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Follow safety procedures and site regulations during fabrication and installation activities.
- Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams to complete work within timelines.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 6–7 years of experience in ARC welding, preferably in façade or structural fabrication industry.
- Knowledge of MS and SS welding processes and material handling.
- Ability to work independently on fabrication and welding activities.
- Familiarity with 3G, 4G, and 6G welding positions preferred.
- Basic knowledge of fabrication drawings and measurements.
- Physically fit and flexible to work extended hours/site locations if required.
- Welding certification (AWS/ASME or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
