Position Summary
The Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering professional spa treatments and wellness services to guests while ensuring the highest standards of customer care, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. The role requires excellent technical skills, a pleasant personality, and a commitment to creating a relaxing and memorable spa experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesSpa Treatments & Services
- Perform a variety of spa treatments, including body massages, body scrubs, body wraps, and wellness therapies.
- Conduct client consultations to understand guest needs and recommend suitable treatments.
- Ensure all treatments are performed according to established spa standards and protocols.
- Maintain guest comfort, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
Customer Service
- Welcome guests professionally and create a relaxing spa environment.
- Provide personalized service and wellness recommendations.
- Upsell spa packages, memberships, and retail products where appropriate.
- Address guest concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Hygiene & Safety
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms, equipment, and spa facilities.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of spa products and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly.
Administration & Operations
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after each session.
- Maintain treatment records and guest preferences when required.
- Assist in inventory management and stock monitoring.
- Support spa promotions, events, and special wellness programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Certification or Diploma in Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Massage Therapy, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a spa, wellness center, hotel spa, or salon.
- Freshers with professional spa therapy training may also apply.
- Knowledge of various massage techniques and spa treatments.
Skills Required

- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Good understanding of hygiene and safety practices.
- Team-oriented and guest-focused approach.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Balinese, Aroma Therapy, Thai, or Hot Stone Massage.
- Knowledge of skincare and wellness products.
- Basic English communication skills.
