The Legal Department Officer provides legal and regulatory support to the Immigration Office by ensuring that immigration cases, documentation, and internal processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies. The role includes reviewing legal documents, providing legal guidance, supporting case preparation, and assisting with compliance and dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review immigration applications, contracts, affidavits, and legal documents for accuracy and legal compliance.
- Research and interpret immigration laws, regulations, and policy updates.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to management and case processing teams.
- Draft, review, and revise legal correspondence, agreements, notices, and official documents.
- Assist in preparing legal files and supporting documentation for hearings, appeals, or court proceedings, where required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable immigration laws, data protection requirements, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with government authorities, legal representatives, and external stakeholders on legal matters.
- Maintain confidential legal records and case files.
- Identify legal risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support internal audits, investigations, and compliance reviews.
- Stay updated on changes in immigration legislation and communicate relevant updates to the team.
- Perform other legal and administrative duties assigned by the Head of Legal or senior management.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of immigration law and legal procedures.
- Excellent legal drafting and document review skills.

- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal document management systems.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
