Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Deputy Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, manage logistics, maintain billing accuracy, and supervise on-ground staff (ironing and delivery team).
Key Responsibilities
Order Management & Billing:
- Inspect incoming garments (walk-ins and doorstep pickups) for pre-existing stains or damages before processing.
- Generate accurate Sale Orders and assign unique Token Numbers in the Vyapar billing app.
- Cross-verify finished item counts post-processing and convert Sale Orders into Sale Invoices.
- Log and mark all 'Payment-In' entries accurately in the app for cash and digital transactions.
Logistics & Outsource Management:
- Schedule and map daily morning pickup routes (9:00 AM – 11:30 AM) and evening delivery routes (3:30 PM – 6:30 PM) for the pickup executive.
- Tag garments, bundle bulk orders, and issue Gate Passes for outsourced laundry and dry-cleaning batches.
- Audit inbound outsourced garments against Gate Passes to ensure zero missing pieces.
- Track strict Turnaround Times (36 hours for ironing, 96 hours for outsourcing) and follow up with vendors.
Cash Flow & Accounts Receivable:
- Act as the safe custodian of physical cash collected in-store and from delivery routes.
- Track and record daily petty cash expenses with physical receipts.
- Follow up on pending customer payments and collect digital payment confirmation screenshots for account reconciliation.
Store Administration & Reporting:
- Supervise 2 ironing staff members and 1 pickup/delivery helper.
- Monitor store inventory (packaging bags, ironing materials) and schedule routine equipment maintenance.
- Maintain clean, organized store racks and welcoming front-desk standards.
- Submit the consolidated end-of-day operational report to senior management.
Requirements & Skills
- Strong communication, customer handling, and route coordination skills.
- Basic accounting discipline with cash handling, UPI reconciliation, and reporting.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and team management abilities.
