Sun Chem India is a leading cosmetic and personal care manufacturer with over 30 years of expertise in skincare, haircare, and cosmetic formulations. We are looking for an experienced Plant Head to lead our manufacturing facility, oversee end-to-end plant operations, drive production efficiency, ensure GMP and quality compliance, optimize costs, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall plant operations to achieve production and business targets.
- Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing schedules.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage Production, QA, QC, Maintenance, Stores, Warehouse, and Planning functions.
- Improve productivity, reduce wastage, and optimize manufacturing costs.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and minimize equipment downtime.
- Lead, mentor, and develop plant teams while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Monitor operational KPIs, resolve manufacturing issues, and support internal and external audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 3 years in a Plant Head or senior leadership role.
- Experience in Cosmetics, Personal Care, FMCG, Pharma, or Chemical Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, production planning, and plant operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Location: Kolgaon, Palghar
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
