Job Title: Business Development Manager – Rice & Maize
Location: Delhi / NCR
Job Summary
Responsible for driving sales and procurement activities for the Rice & Maize division, developing new business opportunities, managing supplier and customer relationships, and achieving revenue and procurement targets across Delhi and North India.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and expand market presence for Rice & Maize products.
- Handle sales and procurement activities to ensure business growth and supply continuity.
- Build and maintain relationships with farmers, traders, millers, distributors, processors, and institutional buyers.
- Achieve sales, procurement, and collection targets.
- Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and competitor activities.
- Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers and customers.
- Coordinate with logistics, operations, and finance teams for smooth execution of orders.
- Prepare sales, procurement, and market intelligence reports.
- Ensure timely collections and effective account management.
Requirements
- Graduate in Agriculture, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Rice, Maize, Agro Commodities, Procurement, or B2B Sales.
- Strong network with suppliers, traders, millers, and institutional buyers.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across North India.
Preferred Industry: Rice, Maize, Agro Commodities, Grain Trading, Feed Industry, Food Processing, and Commodity Procurement.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
