We are seeking a Traffic Engineer with a strong background in traffic survey techniques and data analysis, particularly using Microsoft Excel, QGIS, and traffic-specific software, to support transportation planning and decision-making. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in overseeing traffic Training the team members(office/field), data collection, validating data, and performing in-depth analysis to produce actionable insights for traffic management and infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, oversee, and manage traffic surveys, including vehicle counts, speed studies, turning movement counts, travel time surveys, and pedestrian/bicycle counts, etc.
2. Supervise field data collection teams to ensure data is gathered accurately, safely, and in accordance with guidelines.
3. Validate, clean, and organize raw data from surveys using Excel, ensuring consistency and accuracy for analysis.
4. Use QGIS for spatial analysis and mapping of traffic data to support visual reporting and decision-making.
5. Prepare technical documents, data visualizations, and presentations for internal use and client/stakeholder reporting.
6. Coordinate with project managers and internal teams to align survey activities with project needs.
7. Visiting sites to assure the data quality and the process getting followed.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
