Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and target-driven Academic Counsellor to join our growing EdTech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, managing leads, driving admissions, and achieving enrollment targets through effective communication and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities Lead Management
- Contact prospective students and parents via phone calls, WhatsApp, and email.
- Handle inbound and outbound leads generated through marketing campaigns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the CRM system.
- Follow up with leads regularly to maximize conversions.
Student Counselling
- Understand students' academic background, career aspirations, and learning requirements.
- Provide comprehensive information about courses, certifications, career pathways, and admission procedures.
- Recommend suitable programs based on students' educational goals and interests.
- Address student and parent queries with professionalism and clarity.
Admissions & Sales
- Convert prospective leads into successful enrollments through effective counselling.
- Build trust and establish strong relationships with students and parents.
- Handle objections confidently and provide appropriate solutions.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly admission targets.
Enrollment Process
- Guide students through the complete admission process.
- Ensure timely fee collection and submission of required documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Relationship Management
- Deliver an exceptional student experience throughout the admission journey.
- Maintain long-term relationships with students and parents.
- Provide post-enrollment support whenever required.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports on lead status, conversions, and sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Academic teams to improve lead quality and student satisfaction.
- Monitor personal performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline, Diploma, or ITI.
- 1–3 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Sales, Customer Relationship Management, or the EdTech industry is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a passion for counselling are also encouraged to apply.
