Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Restaurant Captain to lead our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will supervise daily restaurant operations, ensure excellent guest service, coordinate with the kitchen and bar, and support the Restaurant Manager in delivering a seamless dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant floor.
* Lead and support waiters, stewards, and service staff during shifts.
* Welcome guests and ensure a warm and professional dining experience.
* Take and oversee food and beverage orders when required.
* Ensure timely and accurate service by coordinating with the kitchen and bar.
* Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
* Monitor table setup, cleanliness, and overall restaurant presentation.
* Assist in staff training and ensure adherence to service standards.
* Prepare shift reports and communicate operational updates to the Restaurant Manager.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and hotel policies.
Requirements
* Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Restaurant Captain or Senior Steward in a hotel or restaurant.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
* Familiarity with POS systems and billing procedures.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Fluency in English is preferred; Hindi is an added advantage.
