Job Title: Clinic Receptionist
Job Summary:
The Clinic Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients, responsible for managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth patient experience. This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries; provide accurate information
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Maintain patient records (physical and/or electronic) with confidentiality
- Handle patient check-in and check-out processes
- Collect payments, issue receipts, and manage billing coordination
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff for smooth workflow
- Manage waiting area and ensure patient comfort
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and forms
- Follow clinic policies, procedures, and hygiene standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven experience in a receptionist/front desk or customer service role (healthcare preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office
