- Teach undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral law courses.
- Prepare lesson plans, lectures, case studies, and assessments.
- Conduct legal research and publish papers in reputable journals.
- Guide and supervise student research projects, dissertations, and moot court activities.
- Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a good academic record.
- For many universities, particularly in India, qualification in UGC-NET is required unless exempted under applicable regulations (such as certain Ph.D. provisions).
- A Ph.D. in Law is often preferred and may be mandatory for some institutions.
