Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to handle end-to-end design development for commercial interior projects. The role involves translating client requirements into concept-driven, functional, and visually compelling spaces.
Key Responsibilities
Interior Designer
Conceptualize, develop, and present innovative interior design concepts for commercial spaces, including offices, retail, and hospitality environments.
Prepare mood boards, presentations, space planning layouts, and high-quality 2D/3D design visualizations.
Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, budget limitations, and brand identity.
Develop detailed production drawings and construction documentation for execution by contractors and vendors, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting to align with the design vision and project goals.
Manage and track project timelines to ensure on-time delivery and maintain design integrity during execution.
Conduct regular site visits to review progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications.
Stay updated on current industry trends, materials, and best practices in commercial interior design.
Submit a Project Lessons Learned report after project completion to document key insights and areas for improvement.
Daily Reporting Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit daily work reports .
Ensure all working files, including drawings, updates, and relevant documents, are shared daily in the concerned groups for review, coordination, and record-keeping.
Maintain consistency and accuracy in reporting to support effective project tracking and decision-making.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in commercial interior design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and D5
- Qualification:B.Des
- Strong skills in space planning and visualization
- Good client handling and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
