Job Title: AC Technician

Job Summary:
Responsible for the installation, operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems throughout the hotel to ensure guest comfort, safety, and uninterrupted operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain central AC, VRF/VRV, split AC, package units, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in AC systems.
- Check refrigerant levels, pressure, compressors, motors, thermostats, filters, and controls.
- Attend guest-room, restaurant, kitchen, banquet, and back-of-house AC complaints promptly.
- Maintain HVAC equipment, tools, spare parts, and maintenance records.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential breakdowns.
- Perform cleaning of filters, coils, drain lines, and condenser/evaporator components.
- Follow hotel safety procedures and energy-conservation practices.
- Coordinate with other engineering team members during major repairs and shutdowns.
- Maintain daily logbooks and report technical issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience:
- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience as an AC/HVAC Technician; hotel experience preferred.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical controls, and HVAC troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
