We are looking for a skilled and creative Interior Designer with a strong understanding of interior design principles, architectural detailing, and basic civil construction. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing innovative design solutions while ensuring they are practical, structurally feasible, and aligned with project requirements. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and project teams from concept through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their design requirements, budget, and project goals.
- Develop design concepts, space plans, mood boards, and presentation materials.
- Prepare detailed working drawings, layouts, elevations, and construction details.
- Create 2D and 3D visualizations using design software.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review architectural and civil drawings to ensure compatibility with interior design plans.
- Recommend suitable materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, and fixtures.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve on-site issues, and ensure design compliance.
- Prepare BOQs, material schedules, and project documentation.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing turnkey interior fit-out projects.
- Familiarity with local building regulations and construction standards.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
- A strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
