Work Details :-
- Client & Contractor Billing
- Prepare monthly/periodic RA Bills as per actual site measurements and contractual BOQ.
- Prepare subcontractor/vendor bills and verify quantities before processing.
- Check bills against approved drawings, BOQ, work orders, and contract conditions.
- Coordinate with the client/consultant for bill certification and approvals.
- Quantity Measurement & Verification
- Take and verify measurements of civil works at site.
- Prepare Measurement Sheets (MS), Joint Measurement Sheets (JMS) and Abstract Sheets.
- Calculate quantities for excavation, PCC, RCC, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, flooring, structural works, roads, drains, etc.
- Reconcile executed quantities with BOQ quantities.
- BOQ & Rate Analysis
- Maintain project BOQ and track item-wise quantities.
- Identify deviations, extra items, substituted items and omitted items.
- Prepare rate analysis for extra/deviation items.
- Assist in preparation and submission of variation/extra-item claims.
- Material & Consumption Reconciliation
- Prepare reconciliation of cement, steel, concrete and other major construction materials.
- Verify theoretical consumption against actual site consumption.
- Coordinate with stores and site teams for material records and consumption statements.
- Project Documentation
- Maintain proper billing records, measurement books, drawings and supporting documents.
- Maintain records of approved drawings, work orders, purchase orders and client instructions.
- Prepare billing-related MIS and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain soft and hard copies of all billing documents.
- Site Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Engineers, Planning Engineer, QS team, Accounts and Store Department.
- Conduct joint measurements with client/consultant representatives.
- Verify completed work before including it in bills.
- Coordinate with the execution team to obtain daily/weekly progress data.
- Contract & Commercial Control
- Understand contract conditions, BOQ specifications, payment terms and measurement methodology.
- Monitor work quantities and identify potential cost overruns.
- Track certified, submitted and outstanding bills.
- Assist the commercial team in preparing claims and supporting documents.
- Industrial Civil Works
- Billing Engineer should preferably have experience in billing of:
- RCC foundations and equipment foundations
- Piling and pile caps
- Raft and structural foundations
- RCC structures
- Industrial flooring
- Structural steel-related civil works
- Roads, drains and paving
- Boundary walls
- Buildings and utility structures
- Excavation, backfilling and earthwork
- Underground tanks, trenches and cable ducts
Pay: ₹14,398.14 - ₹40,000.00 per month
