Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and patient-focused Phlebotomist to collect blood and other samples and support laboratory operations. The ideal candidate should have basic laboratory knowledge, good communication skills, and a professional approach while interacting with patients.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples safely and accurately as per standard procedures.
- Properly label, handle, and prepare samples for laboratory processing.
- Maintain accurate patient and sample collection records.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and laboratory guidelines.
- Assist and guide patients during the sample collection process.
- Maintain a clean and organized sample collection area.
- Coordinate with the laboratory team for timely sample processing.
- Ensure proper documentation and sample handling procedures.
Qualifications
- DMLT, BMLT, MLT, or an equivalent qualification.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and sample collection.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work carefully and maintain accurate records.
- Candidates with relevant internship or practical training may also apply.
