Role Overview:
We are looking for an Export–Import Executive (1–3 years of experience) with strong knowledge of apparel export/import processes to manage documentation. The role requires excellent communication skills to liaise with International Clients, Vendors, internal teams while ensuring timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, verify, and manage export/import documentation including invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, and customs paperwork.
- Track shipment reports to ensure timely PO bookings and adherence to shipping schedules and delivery windows.
- Coordinate with factories on production readiness, dispatch timelines, and shipment status.
- Liaise with overseas freight forwarders to ensure schedules are met and resolve transit or shipment issues.
- Share vessel options with management for approval based on timelines and cost efficiency.
- Create and manage shipment records and update PO stages from issue to booking and in-transit in Simparel on a daily basis.
- Communicate shipment status, delays, and changes proactively with sales and internal teams.
- Verify shipping documents and resolve discrepancies between Commercial Invoices and Customs Proforma invoices.
- Share final packing lists and shipment details with the warehouse for smooth dispatch coordination.
- Enter, track, and reconcile logistics-related invoices, assist with customs clearance, and handle factory chargebacks through debit memos.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in export/import operations within the apparel industry
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to manage & deliver multiple projects and timelines efficiently
