Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture, assemble, and fit tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, molds, and gauges according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and modification of existing tools and dies.
- Operate machine shop equipment such as milling machines, lathes, grinding machines, drilling machines, EDM, and CNC machines.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and engineering specifications.
- Conduct precision measurements using micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments.
- Inspect completed tools and dies to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
- Identify tooling issues affecting production and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve tooling performance and manufacturing efficiency.
- Maintain records of tooling repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Apprenticeship or certification in Tool & Die Making preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience with press tools, molds, jigs, fixtures, and precision machining operations.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in tool room operations and precision machining.
- Knowledge of conventional machining (lathe, milling, grinding, drilling).
- Familiarity with CNC machining and programming is an advantage.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
- Knowledge of tool steels, heat treatment processes, and material properties.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of CAD/CAM software is preferred.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹66,000.00 per month
