Job Summary
The Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles according to Maruti Suzuki service standards. The role requires technical expertise, adherence to safety procedures, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance.
- Conduct periodic servicing, oil changes, filter replacement, brake inspection, and other preventive maintenance activities.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to detect vehicle issues accurately.
- Carry out repairs according to manufacturer guidelines and workshop procedures.
- Complete repair orders within the allocated time.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed on job cards.
- Inform supervisors of additional repairs required on vehicles.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and safety gear.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and workshop areas.
- Support quality standards and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of automobile systems and vehicle maintenance.
