ROLE PURPOSE
The Senior Logistics Executive will manage end-to-end logistics operations — dispatch, transportation, inventory, and quality control — ensuring timely movement of goods, inventory accuracy, cost optimization, and seamless coordination with warehouses, transporters, and internal teams. The role owns the QC framework across inbound and outbound stock, drives vendor and transporter performance, and works closely with cross-functional departments to keep the supply chain running efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Logistics & Dispatch Management
- Manage daily dispatches end-to-end, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders
- Coordinate with transporters, courier partners, warehouses, and vendors to keep shipments on schedule
- Monitor shipment status across the network and proactively resolve delivery issues and escalations
- Own last-mile delivery coordination and troubleshoot recurring service-level gaps with transport partners
- Ensure accurate documentation for dispatches, returns, and stock transfers
Quality Check (QC) Oversight
- Own the QC framework for inbound stock (new production, vendor supply) and outbound orders, ensuring adherence to defined SOPs before receiving or dispatch
- Review and strengthen QC checkpoints across the warehouse to reduce rejections and rework at source
- Coordinate rework, replacement, or return with vendors/production for QC failures, and track resolution timelines
- Analyse recurring quality issues and drive corrective action with Production and Procurement
Inventory Management
- Track inventory movement across warehouses and stores, and maintain inventory accuracy
- Own reconciliation of stock discrepancies between system and physical inventory
- Plan and coordinate stock audits and cycle counts
- Monitor stock levels and support replenishment and procurement planning (BAU and new stock)
Warehouse Coordination
- Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and movement of inventory, including new stock, old/aged stock, and Return to Vendor (RTV) shipments
- Monitor warehouse performance and adherence to SOPs, including hygiene and safety standards
- Guide and support warehouse/logistics staff on QC and process compliance
Vendor & Transport Management
- Liaise with logistics partners and negotiate rates and service levels
- Evaluate transporter and vendor performance, and maintain vendor relationships
- Conduct vendor-level planning — order quantities, lead times, and delivery schedules
- Track logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics and QC reports
- Monitor logistics KPIs including delivery timelines, freight costs, inventory accuracy, QC rejection rates, and return rates
- Maintain accurate records and documentation across dispatch, QC, and inventory functions
Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Implement operational and QC process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with company policies and logistics/QC SOPs; support automation and digitization initiatives
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments — Production, Procurement, Store Operations, Finance, and E-commerce — to align on stock availability, quality standards, timelines, and issue resolution
REQUIREMENTS
- 4-7 years of experience in logistics/supply chain operations, with strong hands-on exposure to Quality Check (QC) processes in a warehouse environment
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications in Supply Chain/Logistics are an added advantage
- Prior experience in Retail, Apparel & Fashion, E-commerce, D2C, FMCG, or Consumer Goods preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing dispatch operations, inventory accuracy, and vendor/transporter relationships
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and inventory management software

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
