Job Responsibilities :-
Role Purpose
The Production Engineer / Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations, optimizing production processes, ensuring quality standards, maintaining safety compliance, and achieving production targets. The role requires strong technical expertise in fabrication and welding processes along with effective coordination across production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Production planning and scheduling to meet delivery timelines.
- Monitor daily production activities and ensure achievement of production targets.
- Improve manufacturing processes for higher productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control standards are maintained.
- Manage equipment, tools, and production resources effectively.
- Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate material availability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth project execution.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues.
- Train and guide shop-floor personnel on operational best practices.
- Prepare production reports and maintain relevant documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for production-related requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes.
- Good understanding of welding processes and standards.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and industrial equipment handling.
- Basic AutoCAD knowledge.
- Production planning and shop-floor management skills.
- Good communication and team management abilities.
- Ability to work with heavy engineering equipment.
- Knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing standards.
Qualification
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- 0 to 4 years of experience in production, fabrication, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience in heavy engineering, fabrication, pressure vessel, process equipment, or related industries preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience as a Production Engineer, Production Supervisor, Production Executive, or Shift Engineer.
- Hands-on experience in fabrication and welding environments.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations.
- Local candidates from Ankleshwar or nearby locations preferred.
