Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Vehicle Placement & Supply Executive to manage vehicle arrangements, dispatch coordination, and transportation planning for confectionery products. The candidate will ensure timely placement of vehicles, smooth supply movement, coordination with transporters, and on-time delivery to distributors, depots, and customers across locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and place vehicles for daily dispatch requirements.
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and warehouse teams for smooth loading and dispatch activities.
- Ensure timely movement of confectionery products to distributors, depots, and customers.
- Monitor vehicle availability and optimize transportation utilization.
- Track dispatch schedules and delivery status on a daily basis.
- Handle transporter negotiations and maintain transportation cost efficiency.
- Prepare dispatch documentation, invoices, E-way bills, and logistics records.
- Resolve vehicle placement delays and transportation-related issues quickly.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and sales departments for supply planning.
- Ensure compliance with company logistics policies and safety standards.
- Maintain MIS reports related to dispatch, vehicle movement, freight costs, and delivery performance.
- Follow up for Proof of Delivery (POD) and transporter billing processes.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple dispatches and transporter follow-ups.
- Knowledge of route planning and vehicle utilization.
- Basic understanding of ERP/dispatch software and MS Excel.
- Problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch timelines.
Qualification
- Any Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in logistics, vehicle placement, or dispatch operations.
- Experience in FMCG or confectionery industry preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience handling transport vendors and fleet coordination.
- Familiarity with interstate dispatch procedures and documentation.
- Strong follow-up skills and operational discipline.
- Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing and supply environments.
Pay: ₹9,870.46 - ₹25,000.00 per month
