Role -
To design and develop automotive manual transmissions (gearbox)
Responsibilities -
Transmission and drive-train packaging within vehicle architecture
Design of gears, shafts, synchronizers, shift systems, differentials, and gearbox components
3D CAD modeling and engineering drawings
Designer CAE support and engineering analysis
NVH investigation, testing support, and root-cause analysis
Cross-functional coordination for project delivery
Competency Required
Technical-
CAD proficiency (Unigraphics preferred)
Designer CAE analysis (Unigraphics preferred)
Gear design software such as Romax/KISSsoft
Tolerance stack-up, DFMEA, FTA, project management
Behavioral -
Self-driven and proactive
Strong teamwork and networking skills
Effective communication and presentation capability
Specific expertise -
OEM automotive experience
Good driving skills and vehicle evaluation understanding
