Operations Manager – Viibee The Cafe Location: Kakkanad, Kochi About Us Viibee The Cafe has been serving customers in Kakkanad for over 8 years and has grown into one of the area's most established casual dining brands. We specialize in burgers, pasta, steaks, sandwiches, shakes, and healthy food, with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and customer experience. As we prepare to expand and scale our business, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help build world-class systems, drive operational excellence, and play a key role in our growth journey. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations. Build and implement SOPs and operational systems that support growth. Monitor and improve key business metrics including sales, food cost, labour cost, inventory, wastage, and profitability. Manage inventory, purchasing, recipes, and reporting using Petpooja POS. Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team. Ensure consistent food quality, hygiene, and exceptional customer service. Work closely with the founders on expansion planning, process improvements, and scaling operations. Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement. What We're Looking For 3–7+ years of managerial experience in a reputed café, restaurant, or QSR. Hands-on experience with Petpooja POS. Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food cost, labour cost, inventory management, and P&L. A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze numbers, generate insights, and make informed business decisions. Experience creating SOPs and implementing scalable systems. Experience opening new outlets or supporting business expansion is a strong advantage. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. Preferred Background Candidates from organized restaurant chains or corporate food service brands will be given preference, including: McDonald's KFC Starbucks Café Coffee Day (CCD) Burger King Subway Domino's Pizza Hut Similar organized restaurant or QSR brands Why Join Us?
