Hamoni is a growing hospitality and lifestyle establishment offering (cafe/golf range) We're looking for a proactive HR Assistant to support our people operations as we scale our team.
Role Overview
The HR Assistant will support day-to-day human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, attendance and payroll coordination, employee records management, and general HR administration. This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with staff across departments (kitchen, front desk, maintenance, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with end-to-end recruitment: posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with department heads on hiring needs
- Manage new employee onboarding — documentation, ID issuance, induction scheduling, and orientation support
- Maintain and update employee records, attendance registers, and personal files (physical and digital)
- Support monthly attendance tracking and coordinate with accounts for salary/payroll processing
- Track leave requests, weekly offs, and absences; flag discrepancies to management
- Assist in preparing offer letters, appointment letters, and other HR documentation
- Help enforce company policies (uniform, punctuality, code of conduct) and escalate violations appropriately
- Support employee grievance handling and act as a point of contact for staff queries
- Assist with exit formalities — full and final settlement coordination, exit interviews, documentation
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
- Support any statutory compliance tasks (PF, ESI, labour law documentation) as guided by management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years of experience in an HR support/admin role preferred; freshers with strong organizational skills may also apply
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets; comfort with HRone software is a plus
- Strong communication skills — able to interact professionally with staff at all levels
- High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
