Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Legal Officer to handle legal documentation, compliance, recovery support, and legal risk management related to unsecured finance operations. The candidate will ensure all lending activities comply with applicable laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and verify loan agreements, legal notices, affidavits, and related documents.
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and internal legal policies.
- Coordinate with recovery teams and external advocates for legal recovery cases.
- Handle cheque bounce cases, arbitration matters, and legal proceedings.
- Maintain legal MIS, case records, and documentation.
- Support branch and operations teams on legal queries and risk mitigation.
- Verify KYC, customer agreements, and legal eligibility of borrowers.
- Follow up on court matters and maintain communication with legal consultants.
- Assist in fraud prevention and legal investigation activities.
- Prepare legal reports and update management on pending cases.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) – Mandatory
- Experience in NBFC / Banking / Financial Services preferred
- Knowledge of unsecured loans, recovery process, and compliance regulations
- Good drafting and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal documentation handling
Experience: 5 years in Legal Operations / Finance / NBFC sector

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
