Overview:
Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Network SME with a strong design mindset to join our team. The ideal candidate combines deep L2/L3 networking expertise with practical SD-WAN and NFV experience, and can bridge the gap between network engineering, OSS automation, and service operations. You will own lab environments, advise automation teams, and help understand network assurance in complex enterprise and carrier-grade network services.

Core Technical Skills

Deep hands-on L2/L3: LAN/WAN, VLANs, dot1Q, QinQ, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS VPN (L2VPN/L3VPN), IGP, CoS/QoS, ACLs, subnetting/CIDR, IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack

WAN & access: Ethernet Access, IPSec, Internet, NNI interconnects, Public Cloud Interconnects, HA/VRRP
-
Management & operations: NTP, DNS, SNMP, OAM, OOB, change control discipline, SLA management
-
uCPE, Edge NFV, ZTP, service chaining; Overlay/Underlay, SD-WAN, SASE, Application Policy, Hybrid VPN, Gateways

Hands-on configuration experience with at least one SD-WAN platform: VMware VeloCloud, Cisco Viptela, or Silver Peak/HPE

Basic firewall configuration: IPSec, security zones, policies, ACLs (Fortinet, Palo Alto, vSRX or equivalent)

Able to reverse-engineer network designs and ETGs from configurations; translate config logic to OSS/automation teams
Requirements:
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and operate labs for complex enterprise and SP-grade network services

provide advanced troubleshooting and RCA

Understand network service intent; support fulfilment scenarios including New Install, Upgrade, and MACDs
-
Advise on network failure scenarios; define requirements for OSS Network Monitoring, RCA, and Assurance
-
Translate network configuration logic and design intent to OSS/automation teams; review and validate automation outputs
-
Design, rack, and manage a remote network lab: prepare BoM/BoQ, manage power/HVAC considerations, inventory, assets, licences, and procurement

Collaborate with service design, DTAC, assurance operations, IT, and cyber security teams
-
Maintain meticulous network design documentation, ETGs, and operational runbooks; mentor engineers and share knowledge
Qualifications & Certifications

10–12 years in networking or infrastructure roles with a strong design and operations background

Required: CCNP / CCNP-SP (CCIP) / CCIE-level knowledge, JNCIE, or equivalent

Desirable: Cisco Viptela, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, Riverbed certifications
Desirable (Plus)

Expert-level firewall configuration: Fortinet, Palo Alto, vSRX
-
SRE scripting, IaC, Ansible for network automation

Azure Networking and cloud interconnect experience

Intent-based Networking, NetConf/YANG, NMS and OSS/BSS integration
