Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the overall operations of our restaurant in Aluva. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Restaurant Operations, Finance, and Human Resourceswhile ensuring exceptional customer service, profitability, and team performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesRestaurant Operations
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Ensure excellent customer service and maintain high quality standards.
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise kitchen, service, and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and implement operational policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Finance
- Prepare and manage annual budgets and operational expenses.
- Monitor daily sales, cash flow, and profitability.
- Control food and beverage costs, inventory, and wastage.
- Review financial reports and implement strategies to improve revenue and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure statutory compliance.
Human Resources
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of employees.
- Conduct performance evaluations and employee development programs.
- Maintain employee attendance, payroll coordination, and disciplinary procedures.
- Foster a positive work culture and ensure employee engagement and retention.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and company HR policies.
Business Development
- Develop strategies to increase customer footfall and revenue.
- Plan promotional campaigns, events, and marketing initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to improve business performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA is an added advantage.
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a General Manager or Senior Operations Manager role.
- Proven experience in Operations, Finance, and Human Resource Management.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent financial planning and budgeting knowledge.
- Sound understanding of restaurant operations and customer service.
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in MS Office and restaurant/POS management software.

Pay: ₹72,307.42 - ₹99,006.53 per month
