About the Role
Seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts to oversee financial planning, reporting, controls, and compliance. The role partners with senior leadership to support institutional growth, financial sustainability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and institutional targets
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Develop financial models for planning and investment decisions
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure timely and accurate management reporting
- Present financial results and recommendations to senior management
- Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
Accounting & Controls
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting
- Ensure strong internal controls and financial governance
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities
- Coordinate internal and external audits
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements
- Manage banking relationships and treasury operations
- Optimize cash utilization and funding strategies
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations
- Coordinate tax filings and statutory reporting requirements
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and consultants
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members
- Establish performance goals and conduct reviews
- Drive continuous improvement and process automation initiatives
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with department heads on financial planning and cost management
- Identify risks and opportunities affecting institutional performance
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory
- 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounts
- Experience managing teams and interacting with senior leadership
- Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance
