Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic Head of Department Industrial Automation to lead and scale our automation division. This is a high-ownership leadership role involving curriculum design, team building, training delivery, and industry alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and upgrade Industrial Automation curriculum (PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, Robotics)
- Lead and manage a team of automation trainers across centers
- Ensure student readiness and placement outcomes in coordination with placement teams
- Set up and maintain automation labs and training infrastructure
- Stay updated with Industry 4.0, IIoT, Robotics trends
- Collaborate with marketing for technical content and brand building
- Maintain training quality standards and performance metrics
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4-10 years of hands-on experience in Industrial Automation
- Strong expertise in PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD Programming
- Experience with platforms like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Delta
- Leadership experience in team handling / training / mentoring
- Strong communication skills (Hindi & English)
- Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Industrial Robotics / IIoT / Automation Systems
- Background in technical training or curriculum development
- Industry network in manufacturing/automation
- Experience in content creation / training delivery
