Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic Plant Head/Plant Manager from the bath fittings industry to lead and manage overall plant operations at our Mohali manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate must possess in-depth product knowledge of faucets and bath fittings, strong production planning capabilities, and proven experience managing large teams while ensuring operational efficiency and consistently meeting production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complete plant operations, including production, quality, maintenance, stores, and dispatch.
- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Develop and monitor production planning schedules in line with business requirements.
- Maintain and review daily production reports, MIS reports, inventory reports, and operational data.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and process compliance.
- Implement cost control measures and improve productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, and Dispatch departments for smooth operations.
- Monitor raw material consumption, wastage control, and inventory management.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate plant staff and department heads.
- Ensure safety standards, statutory compliance, and factory regulations are followed.
- Identify process improvements and drive continuous operational excellence.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Must have prior experience in the bath fittings/faucets manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical and product knowledge of faucets, sanitary fittings, and related components.
- Proven experience in team handling and workforce management.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain detailed daily operational and production reports.
- Experience in production planning, target monitoring, and deadline management.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Experience of working on ERP/SAP
- Good knowledge of Excel/MS Office.
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech / BE in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (preferred).
