Role Purpose
The Quality Engineer ensures that construction quality and testing discipline are maintained throughout the programme — approving materials and methods before use, running the inspection and test regime, and keeping the site's quality and safety compliance audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities
● Review and approve contractor material submittals against specification before use on site.
● Implement the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) for civil, structural and finishing works, including hold points.
● Witness and record key stage inspections and testing (e.g., concrete cube tests, rebar checks) before sign-off.
● Maintain the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) register and track corrective action closure with contractors.
● Conduct routine site walks to monitor workmanship quality and safety compliance, reporting observations to the PM.
● Compile and maintain quality records (test certificates, inspection checklists, approvals) for the project file.
● Support punch-list preparation and quality-related closure items ahead of final handover.
● Ensure only approved brands/materials are procured and that proper construction methods, line and level are maintained.
Qualifications & Experience
● B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering, with QA/QC specialisation.
● 6–7 years of experience in construction quality assurance/quality control, industrial or factory projects preferred.
● Working knowledge of ITPs, material testing standards, and NCR-based quality management.
Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
