Job Overview
We are seeking a warm, organized, and charismatic Customer Service Associate to be the welcoming face and voice of our salon. In this role, you aren't just answering phones—you are the director of first impressions. You will be responsible for managing the salon flow, booking appointments accurately, and ensuring every client walks out the door feeling pampered and valued.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Experience & Hospitality
- The Welcome: Greet clients warmly upon arrival, check them in, offer refreshments, and introduce them to their stylist or technician.
- The Checkout: Handle retail product transactions and service payments accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system. Process cash, cards, and tips.
- Inquiry Management: Answer phone calls, texts, and emails promptly, answering questions about services, pricing, and salon policies with enthusiasm and clarity.
2. Appointment Booking & Salon Flow
- Smart Scheduling: Manage the salon's booking calendar, optimizing appointment slots to maximize stylists' time without overbooking or creating long wait times.
- Client Retention: Actively encourage clients to pre-book their next appointment during the checkout process.
- Waitlist Management: Proactively fill last-minute cancellations using the salon waitlist.
3. Retail & Salon Upkeep
- Upselling: Educate clients on current service and retail promotions and gift card options.
- Merchandising: Keep the reception and retail display area clean, fully stocked, and visually appealing.
- Opening/Closing Duties: Assist with opening or closing the salon, including cash drawer reconciliation and ensuring the front-of-house is pristine.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Experience: Fresher or 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or reception (salon/spa experience is a massive plus).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal communication and a friendly, professional telephone demeanor.
- Multitasking: Ability to stay calm, gracious, and organized under pressure during peak salon hours.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable learning salon software and handling basic math for processing payments.
Preferred:
- A keen eye for detail and a polished, professional appearance.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evening shifts (peak salon times).
- Passion for the beauty and wellness industry.
