ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Head of Procurement to lead and build our procurement function. This is a department-head role for a senior professional who is genuinely strong in three things: procurement planning, strategic negotiation, and designing and implementing procurement processes.
You will own procurement end to end , strategy, planning, high-value negotiation, vendor governance, and the ERP-driven processes the function runs on , across civil, finishes, MEP, and services. Crucially, you will not just operate the function; you will design how it works. You will lead the procurement team, including the Procurement Manager, and report to senior leadership.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN
- Procurement strategy & planning , forward planning aligned to project schedules and BOQ.
- Strategic negotiation , leading high-value buys and setting negotiation discipline for the team.
- Process design & implementation , building SOPs, controls, approval matrices, and ERP workflows.
- Vendor governance , onboarding, evaluation, rationalization, and a compliant vendor base.
- Commercial discipline , cost protection, leakage prevention, and margin governance.
- Team leadership , leading and developing the procurement team, including the Procurement Manager.
- Leadership reporting , procurement performance, savings, and risk to Operations and the MD.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Graduate in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering; an MBA or SCM qualification is a strong plus.
- 14+ years of procurement experience in real estate, construction, or infrastructure, with senior / leadership exposure.
- Demonstrated strength in procurement planning , forecasting and planning ahead of need.
- Proven track record in strategic, high-value negotiation.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing procurement processes, SOPs, and controls.
- Strong command of civil, finishes, and MEP categories, materials, and market rates.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and procurement compliance, and of construction ERP systems.
- A systems-builder mindset , structured, governance-minded, and ethical.
- The leadership presence to build a team and the discipline to hold process under pressure.
