Job Summary
We are seeking a Billing Assistant to manage billing, invoicing, and order processing activities. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Tally and Excel, have a strong understanding of GST billing, and possess excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and generate invoices, quotations, delivery challans, and credit/debit notes.
- Enter and process sales and purchase orders in TallyPrime.
- Maintain accurate customer, vendor, and billing records.
- Verify purchase orders, pricing, taxes, and payment terms.
- Coordinate with sales, dispatch, and accounts teams for smooth order execution.
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and maintain supporting documents.
- Track outstanding payments and assist in payment follow-up.
- Prepare billing and MIS reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Ensure compliance with GST and company policies.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounting, or order processing.
- Hands-on experience with TallyPrime.
- Good knowledge of GST billing and accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong accuracy, organization, and communication skills.
Salary
₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month (based on experience and skills)
