About the Role
Join the More Than Human Governance Project and work closely with indigenous communities to strengthen community participation, document traditional knowledge, and support regenerative governance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with indigenous and tribal communities.
- Conduct regular village visits and community engagement activities.
- Document traditional knowledge, cultural practices, and community perspectives.
- Facilitate communication between communities and project teams.
- Support community consultations, governance meetings, and field reporting.
- Ensure all engagement follows community consent and cultural protocols.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Anthropology, Sociology, Agriculture, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in community engagement, rural development, or field-based projects.
- Experience working with tribal/indigenous communities is preferred.
- Ability to communicate in Telugu and/or Odia (knowledge of local Adivasi languages is an advantage).
- Willingness to travel extensively to villages.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
