Job description:
The Senior Store Manager oversees the daily operations of the bakery shop, ensuring smooth business functioning, high customer satisfaction, and team productivity. This role involves managing staff, inventory, sales targets, hygiene standards, and overall store performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Staff Management
Supervise, schedule, and train counter staff, bakers, and helpers.
Maintain a positive work environment and handle any staff issues.
Ensure all employees follow shop policies and health standards.
2. Customer Service
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Address and resolve customer complaints and feedback.
Build strong relationships with regular customers.
3. Sales and Performance
Monitor daily sales and meet monthly revenue targets.
Implement promotions and upselling strategies.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.
4. Inventory & Stock Control
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies in a timely manner.
Reduce wastage and manage stock rotation (FIFO).
Maintain accurate stock and purchase records.
5. Store Maintenance & Hygiene
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the store.
Ensure all food safety regulations are strictly followed.
Coordinate with vendors for maintenance needs or repairs.
6. Financial Management
Manage cash handling, POS system reports, and petty cash.
Ensure accurate billing, pricing, and discount application.
Assist in budgeting and cost control.
